Tuesday, May 3rd Whole Foods of Chapel Hill will be donating 5% of all proceeds to FVPC. 5% Days are one of the many ways Whole Foods gives back to the community. Each quarter they choose one local organization to sponsor through these fundraisers in order to have a larger impact. For more information on Whole Foods’ 5% Days you can see their recent blog post here.
We encourage you to stop by Whole Foods on May 3rd. It will be a great way to support FVPC while checking “grocery shopping” off your To Do list. You could even take this opportunity to try out a new dish with Whole Foods’ fresh ingredients. Whole Foods has a variety of creative recipes posted on their website to get you started with some great ideas.
Community educators from FVPC will also be present on May 3rd to speak about our role within the community and to answer any questions about domestic violence and/or FVPC. Definitely stop by their table to pick up some informational handouts as well as our contact information.
We look forward to seeing all of you at Whole Foods on Tuesday, May 3rd. Please spread the word about this fantastic event and bring your family and friends with you to shop!
