On Thursday, October 28th, FVPC and The Women’s Center, in partnership with NC Women United, are inviting all concerned citizens and Orange County residents to attend the Women’s Agenda Assembly to discuss civic issues in Orange County. Attendees with have the opportunity to meet and discuss their concerns, as well as voice their opinions in order to affect real social change.
Agenda topics will include:
- Affordable Childcare Voter Owned Elections;
- LGBT Employment Discrimination;
- Mental Health;
- Immigration Issues;
- Domestic Violence
The Assembly will be held on Thursday October 28th from 5:30-8:30 PM at New Hope Camp off Highway 86 between Hillsborough and Chapel Hill.
