FVPC is 10 in 2010!

Ten years ago a group of visionary and dedicated community members got together and after much hard work, the Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County was born.

On October 21st from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. we will celebrate FVPC’s 10th birthday!  We are excited to be holding this event at The Top of the Hill’s fabulous new Great Room facility.  We will have wonderful hors d’oeuvres and drinks, a silent and a live auction, music by the Ken Broun Jazz Trio and much more.

The Top of the Hill is located at 100 East Franklin Street.  Entrance to The Great Room is from Franklin Street (next door to Walgreen’s). Valet parking is available.  Look for it in front of Kidzu.

Tickets are $55 per person or $100 for two (2) and include one drink, hors d’oeuvres and valet parking.   Please call 919-697-9183 by October 18th to reserve your tickets.

We sincerely hope that you will join us for this fun evening to celebrate and benefit The Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County.

Our sincere thanks to Molly Maid of Chapel Hill and the Ms. Molly Foundation for their support of this event.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

In North Carolina alone there have been 47 domestic violence murders between January – August, 2010.

FVPC is the only agency in Orange County serving the needs of domestic violence victims.
